Statement of Rental. Review our statement of rental

No Smoking! Per city code, all rental properties in Manhattan are SMOKE FREE. Please take it outside.

Military Personnel are welcome at Aggietown!  We appreciate your service!  If you are being PCS's please Download the Military PCS form.  You will need to bring a copy of this form in, as well as your official orders. 

Pet Policy. Vicious breeds are not allowed.  Review the Pet Policy

Upon Move In...

The following must be completed by all tenants as required per individual property:

  • Security Deposit equal to one months rent. 
  • Pet Deposit (if Applicable) is $250 due at lease signing.  Having a pet increases your rent $50 a month.
  • Rental application.  A $35 non refundable application fee is required.  You can apply online or ask the agent for a paper copy and return it back to us. Please review our statement of rental located under information.
  • A photocopy of your ID
  • Students will be required to have a cosigner.
  • Lease Signed 
  • Utility Confirmation Sheet.  You may be required to have utilities in your name (property specific).  Did you lose your sheet? Download Utility Confirmation Sheet
  • First Months Rent Paid
  • Within 5 days of moving - Complete the  Rental Inspection Form & Inventory obtained from Aggietown Real Estate office must be completed, signed by tenant and returned to Aggietown Real Estate office. 

 

UPON MOVE OUT

As your lease term comes to end, be aware of tasks that will need to be completed for a successful transition.

  • Aggietown will provide (by email, by mail, and/or online) information regarding preparation for leaving your unit- we will even give you a detailed cleaning list to follow!  Make sure your smoke detectors have batteries, you have replaced all the blinds, and you have new drip pans in the kitchen- the house needs to look the same way it did when you moved in!
  • Please remove all of your belongings as well as yourselves in a timely manner as stated on your lease.  Failure to do so can result in fines and rental fees.  Please give us time to get the unit ready for the next residents.
  • Contact all the utility companies (if applicable) to set up service cancellations.
  • Return ALL keys to Aggietown by NOON on your move out date.
  • Please remove all belongings, personal property, food, trash, etc. from the premises.   Failure to do so will result in charges.
  • Thoroughly clean the entire premises using the cleaning checklist. Aggietown will have the carpets professionally cleaned by a company of our choosing with all costs being deducted from the security deposit per your rental agreement.
  • Provide forwarding addresses for all tenants to the Post Office and Aggietown.  These will be used to mail out Security Deposit reconciliations.
  • Stop your automatic payments!
  • Security Deposit statements will be processed no later than 30 days after the termination of your Lease, in accordance with Kansas law. 

If you want to move out early, please contact our office for an early move out inspection, and we will assist you in this process.
